Green Weekend along the Jurassic Coast

The Director/Presenter of this video was looking for some help with some typography and motion graphics work as well as some help and advice on how the video should look and feel. The director wanted a handwritten note feeling to the 'Green Tips' and be able to reuse again as a template as well as improving the page turn animation and image used for the notebook.

I thought a 'scrapbook' feel would be more suitable then a lined notepad which would give the feel of travel and adventure more. The 'Green Tips' text was created in After Effects using a plugin called Tapered Stroke to get the pen on paper effect. The remaining text was a font downloaded from the Adobe type kit. This set up made it easier to create a template that could be reused throughout the video.

This was a fun project to work on as Beyond Your World (BYW) was an excellent and fascinating client to work with. I always believed work was a partnership and not just for money and I got that with BYW.

This is the first episode in a series of videos that Beyond Your World are producing in partnership with UNESCO UK
